What an eventful day! Well, I was certainly successful with the whole shopping thing! New shoes AND a bathing suit! Boy, am I excited to show them off!!! Can you tell I'm in a better mood than last night?
Shopping was the start to the day while it then gelled into seeing Zesty Girl at her own workplace to hang out and do some errands before Metallica Fan's birthday dinner with a bunch of our common cohorts.
OH! Excuse me! I totally forgot our whole rendezvous with Soccer Slut and company, including Italian Danish. Wow, how do you really make my day perfect? Include those two and I'll be good for a couple! Actually, that's a lie, because then I get greedy and want some more. So sad we don't hang out more often. But we did get to play three on three futbol which was thoroughly amazing and a tool sesh. On me. And Zesty Girl. But give us a break! We were playing with fully-equipped Varsity boys.
Not that it should be an excuse, but it definitely tilted the game to have an unfair advantage. But, I am not one to play soccer very competitively, I play for the love of the game. But, if I'm winning, that's a totally different story!
THEN, after a quick rush home with Zesty Girl, and another play date for basketball on sunday, we cleaned up and then raced over to the Chinese restaurant as to not be late. Turns out, we were the first ones to arrive. The others soon came and we all went in and stuffed our faces with the scrumptious delicacies of Chinese Buffet. Thoroughly filled, we went back to Metallica Fan's abode to watch a little Disney action while playing that fruit to that fruit. Needless to say, I won. I mean, come on, I'm funny. It's what I do.
I realize the title of this blog is 'The Cellphone Chronicles'. I guess I should add some cellphone action, right?
